My friend and I bought the new Iraqi Dinars when they came out a few
years ago. Hoping they would rise in value later, it's been 3 1/2 years
now and they haven't even kept up w/ inflation. Is the strength of the
Iraqi Dinar going to improve anytime soon, and why / why not. Thanks.
As I'm sure you probably know for the past 8 years or so someone has been calling for the Iraqi Dinar to "realue" tomorrow basically everyday for the past 8 years.
The Iraqi Dinar is a long shot and it's very speculative. I personally don't believe and RV is possible or has ever happenned with another currency in the past. That's not to say you can't make money. The idea of buying a currency low and selling it high is nothing new and heck the Dinar is more valuable than it was when you bought it.
I think money can be made but reasonable amounts of money slowly over time, nobody is going to be a millionair overnight over an investment of a few hundred bucks.
